Before we get to the slow, conscious jewelry, let's look at what we consciously distance ourselves from.

Fast fashion wants everything fast, cheap, eye-catching – and this applies not only to clothing, but also to jewelry.
Mass-produced goods, cheap metals, gemstones of unknown origin - produced in huge factories. Designs are copied, trends come and go, pieces are quickly worn and then thrown away. The people who make them are often poorly paid, the production process wastes resources and is thoughtless.
